I wish my wife and I had read the reviews of this place before staying here on our Mekong Delta tour. Avoid the massage parlor on the 3rd floor. It is a brothel. The rooms are just average. Clean and okay, just stay away from the 3rd floor I guess. This is probably the best quality hotel you will find in Can Tho.
It is good, but very average. The rooms have comfortable beds, TV and work desks. The windows let in some street noise, but acceptable. There are some parties held there which can get quite loud, but the fifth floor seemed to minimize the distrubance. The breakfast buffet is good considering the wide range of tastes they are trying to satisfy. Like most hotels in Vietnam, the coffee is awful. I've stayed in several other hotels in Can Tho and this is the best so far, but again, it is average overall.
It was a nice hotel but the staff and the breakfast buffet did not live up to their 4 stars. The room was nice and clean but nothing special. The breakfast was okay but I expected more from a 4 star hotel. One of the receptionists was totally unfriendly and incompetent. She could not help us with booking bus tickets or tours to the floating market.
I'm sure you can find a place that is cheaper and still nice and clean. But its odd as the hotel itself is not seedy or remotely doggy in any way. Stayed here for one month as part if a work assignment.
Get out and buy pho if you can though. Don't go for a massage unless you are looking for a happy ending! Hookers can be found in the hotel every day and night. You will also find the restaurant full of karaoke girls in the evening.
