We thought we were getting a bargin by paying 10 dollers per night. As we couldn't get sufficent WiFi in our room we went down to reception area. There was a constant flow of prostitutes checking in and out spending appromatley 40 miniutes per client. How it works is if their are any available rooms on the nght Nam Long Hotel allows prostitutes to have it for the night as the hotel get's commision per client they bring in.
Even though they hypocritacally have a sign up saying they don't allow it. So unless you would like to be sleeping on a bed that has regular business by prostitutes and there creepy clients, stay clear.!!!!
Powerful and hot shower,tv with sports channels,wifi in the room,lift,all these at USD 12 is good enough to me!! Well stayed there for a few nights when we first arrived in Saigon was great, friendly ppl cheap price, 10 dollars a night per room Came back a few weeks later, they wen remembered us, told us as we checked in 10 dollars a night once again, yet in the morning upon checkout they proceed to rip us off saying it was 10 dollars a person and nowhere in all of Vietnam do they charge per person.
It's always per room! After much arguing and haggling we got it down to 8 dollars a person, and with out bus out to Cambodia the lady tried to rip is off with our change shorting us about dong each Changed my opinion on the place completely and I will never be going back because of this, it's complete BS! As many other hotels in the Pham Ngu Lao area, this is a middle price hotel with small rooms but everything is fine inside. Rooms are clean and staff is ok.
This is a very good place, located in a tight alley in the very heart of the neighborhood, few steps from all the nightlife. Have fun. We stayed at this place for 1 night because we arrived late in HCMC and our first choice was already fully booked.
