The massage service of this hotel is a facade for prostitution! My boyfriend and I in July decided to visit this so called 'massage' area of the hotel as we were staying in a nearby hotel. It charged us VND per person for a 1 hour massage which was done by women dressed provocatively and who have absolutely no skills in providing a massage. The reception was bare, the guy at the counter had no idea of the type of massages this place offers even though i spoke to him in vietnamese.
We should have then walked out rather than proceeded but unfortunately I did not pick on these clues at the time. As a female, I got a very bad 'massage' of which nothing was sexual was offered for about a half hour. I am disgusted with this family run hotel for their business ethics and collusion to run a prostitution hole under the guise of massages.
Travellers beware! Don't waste your money on this place if you want to get a normal massage for your weary muscles. I stayed in this hotel times in and would say, I agree with many previous reviewers that this is not quite a 3-star hotel since it's not operated professionally.
In fact the hotel is a family business. Offers like complimentary water is missing, breakfasts are poor and crowded in peak season, rooms are rather small. When I don't need to stay close to the beach I will stay in the Golden Sea near there which has larger rooms.
The location is good, however if you'd like to stay even closer to the beach, Sai Gon Tourane is a better choice within the same price range. Overall, the hotel is an OK choice, but it is just average. Our original intention was to scooter through Da Nang on our way to Hoi An.
