Hi, I am very excited to visit Margarita Island. It looks very beautiful and I see the prices are very good from Montreal for March. I am traveling with my brother in law and my husband both in their 40s I have been to Mexico, Dominican R, Jamacia and Cuba and never had a problem. I always feel very safe in an all inclusive resort and I know they have problems in Mexico, etc but It usually has to do with drinking and drugs. But i don't want to worry about crime on the resort.
Should I book a resort now for March or should i wait in case the situation gets worse? I do understand the crime is mostly at the airport and Caracas but its seems to be getting worse on the island as well. Hi Lori.
