Stayed at the Gloria Verde from 12th July for a week in a family suite. We had a fabulous time but here are a few points to consider - Pool - spotless with good quality sunbeds of which there was never a shortage, towel cards in exchange for lovely big beach towels save on baggage allowance and a pool bar with yummy ice cream and cold drinks.
The childrens pool is ideal for under 5's and the water slides have a lifeguard on duty and are closed when he goes off for lunch.
The Beach - lovely sandy beach and a fantastic pier on which you can sunbathe but very hot in July and the sea is far too rough to swim in for children The Rooms - stayed in a family suite which was ideal.
Very clean if a little dated decor and the mini bar was restocked daily. The bed was very hard and the bedding configuration a little unusual but generally the room was great. The air con worked all day and night and was more than adequate. The Food - we ate in the buffet restaurant most of the time due to the excellent variety of food on offer.
The quality was great with lots of freshly cooked meat,fish,chicken and potato dishes on offer. The desserts were amazing to look at if a little sickly for my taste however the fruit bar more than made The desserts were amazing to look at if a little sickly for my taste however the fruit bar more than made up for this - I have never seen so many cherries even if the russians do pile their plates sky high!!! From check in to departure they made our stay a pleasure.
