In Turkey, domestic violence against women and killing women in this context are important public health issues. The purpose of this study is to investigate the frequency and relevant factors of domestic violence against adult women living in the city center of a city located in the eastern part of Turkey. Our study was conducted between September-November in a cross-sectional design with adult women living in Malatya city center.
In this study, the domestic violence questionnaire form whose validity study was made with Delphi method for Turkey was used. The sampling of the study was selected randomly from the women who applied to Family Health Center in the city. The questionnaire form was applied in a face-to-face.
