SURAT THANI: A Lotus Express convenience store in Tha Chana district of this southern province was robbed of a large amount of cash -- initial reports said it was , baht, but the final figure is forthcoming -- by a gun-wielding hooded man on Sunday morning, police said. He was about centimetres tall, wore a white shirt with long sleeves and white gloves, and his head and face were covered by a strip of white cloth topped by an electric torch.
