All extremely disappointing, I will never stay here again. Never again. I try to be as objective as I can when reviewing and like to give a fair impartial report. However this hotel is far from elegant, the lobby area with good seating is the best thing so far about the hotel.
I stayed on the second floor the room is old and tried just like the hotel inside and out. The bed is comfortable and I slept well, the tv was old with extremely poor quality reception. The sockets by the bed do not work ,the new adapter just keeps falling out. In the morning went down to breakfast about 9 staff are less than helpful young lads that just sit around talking and using phones. The selection is very very limited, most places will at least do an omelette no chance here.
Settled in the end for coffee and toast. Then went around the corner to a lovely coffee house, very easily missed. No more than 2 minutes. From the hotel turn right out of hotel first left and it's on your left. Great food and staff.
Highly recommend. Hotel would benefit from a complete refurbishment to bring up date. As I said it's old and tried. Would only stay again as this hotel is cheap for the area, if the other better hotels for similar money are not available.
Extensive building work is being done next to hotel. This hotel is better than its ratings on Tripadvisor or Agoda would suggest. It appears that the hotel has undergone recent renovation.
