The hotel is situated close to Bus Station 2 in Khon Kaen. There are also a few shops, a Seven-eleven and a few nice restaurants and a food market just a few hundred meters away. The hotel is not luxury or new, but acceptable for a short stay. We stayed in a platinum room which is nothing special.
The sheets are quite old and have occasional holes in them, but are clean. Our rate included a free mini bar which turned out to be nothing more than just a few free soft drinks a tiny two-finger kitkat bar and no alcohol, so notice of a 'bar'. On a positive note, the hotel has a swimming pool and their staff are very friendly. My wife booked this hotel, because it was half price..!! It lights up like some kind of brothel and thats on the inside.. The STAFF are very friendly and keen, but iam afraid to tell you that this place has a china background of the sort!
The Hotel is situated down a side lane off a main road in the University area of the city. Nearby there are numerous convenience stores and an assortment of decent bars and restaurants. The nearest large mall was a 20 minute drive away but the very congested Korat traffic adds to this.
There is ample carparking at this hotel. On arrival we upgraded to a platinum room and had breakfast included in our booking. The room was ok, a little dark and no balcony or view of anything from the window.
Fixtures and fittings were a litle worn around the edges but it was clean enough and we had no real complaints. The whole hotel is not quite as chic and funky as the pictures make it look but like I say, it's ok!
