Would like to ask is visa on arrival is available in Aranyaprathet border to enter bangkok? For Filipino passport holders arriving from Cambodia and going into Thailand you'll recive a 15 day Visa exemption at the Poipet border crossing. So far so good. Visa on Arrival is unfortunately not available at Aranyapathet. You need to get a visa in advance or fly back from Siem Reap.
Thank u very much for ur prompt and knowledge able reply Bill2p. Just like a tourist visa, a transit visa has to be obtained outside the country at a Thai embassy or consulate. As far as I know, you cannot get one issued at Aranyaphrathet. This post has been removed at the author's request.

Aranyapathet is now on the list of border posts where VOA can be issued. I am traveling with my wife and 2 small kids next month and do not want to face any inconvinence with Thai Immigration at the border.
