Not too many places where you can splash around in the pool and watch the crocs in the lake opposite. Big fans of Cinnamon Wild unlike some of the other Cinnamon chain. Loved feeling so close to nature and watching the sun go down over Yala from the rooftop bar. Chalets are spacious with rainforest showers and good wifi. The low rise aspect means the whole hotel doesn't feel too intrusive on the natural environment and the only noise is the waves crashing and cicadas and occasional monkey scampering.
Staff are pleasant and cheerful and happy to help organise trips and excursions. Food is Sri Lankan focused and all the better for it. It's tasty and authentic trust me I live here.
