We had a massages little days ago. I had a massage here, after disappointment elsewhere. My therapist was Rumesh and A very pleasant, relaxing experience that you just need when you are on vacation Staff was very friendly and helpful. On my last day this time in Sri Lanka, we thought we would try a spa in colombo and i wish we didn't.
For starters, the prices at this spa are higher than other places. We booked the couple's treatment, which included a scrub, massage, hair mask, and jacuzzi. The pics were very promising but once we got there we were let down. For starters, they gave us lime juice which has bugs on it. Strike one.
Then when we entered the room, it was severely outdated with the paint coming off the ceiling, dirty ac ducks, etc.. In the other spas we've been to in Sri Lanka, the bathrooms are like an oasis and you enjoy showering in them. The trash bin all rusty, an old shower curtain, just bad. We opted for the wrap instead of the scrub as we had gotten scrubs just 2 days earlier, and it was bad.
The massage was good and the therapists were good, but other than that the experience was bad. We didn't use the jacuzzi and rushed out as soon as our treatment was over. It's a shame because their therapists are good although could be more friendly. Would not recommend.
Azmaara and aryana spa in blue waters wadduwa hotel are the same chain. We started off with Blue waters hotel and loved the service and Swedish massage. Then we continued that in azmaara spa in cinnamon lakeside.
