Dorcas is a good host and she welcomed me with love. Overall l had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and clean. The perfect couples getaway, for rest!
The beauty of the dam, the birds and animals is only surpassed by the comfort of the cottage. We will be back! From checking in to leaving we had a pleasant experience!!! And the fishing was superb. We caught around 45 decent size bass over the weekend from the deck in front of the property! Looking forward to staying there again next month! Highly recommend!!!
The Boathouse hugged me, kissed my forehead and stroked my hair, it sang me asleep and smiled me awake. This is a really special place, and is surrounded on three sides with unique animals: llamas, blue cranes, black swans, and what we think were bushbuck. Nick is right about the sunset - stunning! Great hospitality, warm heated lady, peace and quiet retreat I'd visit there again without doubt.
If you are looking for a tranquil atmosphere, you will find it here. The house is surrounded by farm fields with roaming sheep and cattle. Everywhere you look creative touches adorn the garden and you can sit on the veranda taking it all in. The house is very spacious furnished simply and comfortably.
