An East Liverpool police affidavit said on March 22, the defendant allegedly battered the face of a woman in East Liverpool, jumped on her, beat her leg with a laptop battery pack, choked her until she lost consciousness and used her personal mace on her. Maxon allegedly headbutted a deputy trying to take him into custody after a reported disturbance June 9 on Water Street, Salineville while he was allegedly under the influence and also scratched up and bruised the arm of another deputy while resisting arrest. When taken into custody, Maxon allegedly possessed a BB gun that was later reported stolen by a Salineville resident who said someone had entered his home and taken the gun.
A preliminary hearing was set June 20 for Billie Thompson, 41, Youngstown, charged with third-degree felony illegal conveyance of prohibited items onto grounds of detention facility.
