We were happy to receive our money back after the first night of four nights booked. Room was less than tiny, bedding wasn't made up, when made the sheets didn't fit the bed, mattress consisted of two mattresses layered one a top of the other on steel frame, walls paper thin, bathroom so small that the door couldn't be closed when sitting on toilet. Room and bathroom putrid, couldn't get out of there fast enough. Booked another hotel for couple of extra dollars a night, was well worth it.
Room which you chose was economy category. If you asked administrators to show you another rooms we would offer you rooms standart class for example. It costs a little more β rub. There are two comfortable full size beds and another type linen. Room area is bigger. Little by little we are trying to change our economy rooms too making maintenance. Our stay here was very unpleasant. We made a prepaid booking on the hotel's website, but the reception staff tried to insist that we pay again in cash.
They were completely unaware that their own hotel's website accepts online prepaid bookings. After 20 minutes of arguing they pretty much accused my Russian-speaking girlfriend of being a prostitute they finally called the manager and realised that in fact we had already paid. They also do not know the policy with registration for foreigners, which can and for us it did cause problems in later travels.
They charged us money for registration, but gave us no registration. Our room was on the fifth floor. They have no lifts, so we had to walk with our bags all the way up. The room was a standard Soviet era inspired stinky box.
The toilets are VERY small. By 'very small' I mean, when you sit on the toilet your knees are outside the bathroom. You cannot comfortably close the door when you are relieving yourself.
