The need to bring Slutwalk to Maryland, especially the Baltimore area, has heightened in the light of the recent savage assault on a transgender woman at a McDonalds. It was filmed by an employee for his amusement, and the people around watching the assault were also taking pleasure in this act of phobic violence.
