Also the food is quite good. The grounds are very pretty and well maintained. The hotel looks very nice from the outside. Also, it is right by the entrance to the national park.
There is a restaurant across the street from the hotel overlooking the river in the national park, and the entrance to the park is a few blocks away. The restaurant was also excellent. The beds were firm and comfortable, and the receptionists, bell boys, and housekeeping personell were attentive and kind. Food is quite good. Set in gardens, it features rooms with balconies, a restaurant and gym. There is free Wi-Fi and cable TV. Patzcuaro and its lake are approximately 34 mi away.
