Police said that the pimp, Shankar Gowda, a native of Bengaluru, Karnataka, and resident of Mumbai, Maharashtra, was running the racket through a website. The city police, in two separate cases, rescued six women, who were forced into prostitution, and arrested two agents on Saturday. The agents' accomplices are on the run.
