If you come to Oman, you have 3 choices as to drinks: getting a resident's permit unlikely unless Simple menu with tasty food, busy bar in the evening, specially when showing sports. Good and This place is full of hookers. I advise please do not visit the place and waste your money. The security guards are very racist towards asians.
They keep troubling the asians always like not to stand there and not to do this but the arabs can do anything. Looking at their egoistic face, you feel to leave this place. I hope this place burns down. Visited safari club after a day of meetings to watch english premiership games.
This place is really handy if you're staying at the Grand Hyatt and looking for somewhere with a different atmosphere. It's actually part of the hotel complex so 1 minute walk will get you there. Good atmosphere in the air conditioned bar which really could be anywhere in the world. Good mix of sports memorabilia around the place and an excellent choice of beers. Full price is a bit more expensive than were used to in the UK.
Pretty good food available too - the bagels and nachos went down well. We went 3 nights in succession and felt very comfortable in the place. Habana sports bar on the ground floor of the Hyatt hotel is a good, honest bar with decent drinks and OK food.
Its lively and full of many different characters! Staff very good here. Safari bar on the next level is a brothel full of unclean looking men and women. Unless you like this sort of thing don't even go there!
