Although it is very common topic here, I couldn't figure it out how to settle for what I want. Reach Friday midnight at Kochi Airport. Stay Kochi for 1 night. Sun night Hotel stay. Mon morning head to Ooty. Now, Upon late night arrival, advisable to stay in Kochi and travel next day morning or straight away go to Allepy from Airport? Shld be able to I guess. After HouseBoat, spend afternoon in sightseeing and souvenirs shoping.
Any recommendation? I read a lot of bad comments about Spice routes and Rainbow cruises. If there are 1 or 2 i can omit as odd ones but really a lot. Now confused. Anyone recently used these services? Agree with Mr. Prasannas point.
Since you are arriving late mid night its not advisable to stay in a cochin hotel ,please keep in mind that the Airport is about 40 km from cochin. The amount is too much for a house boat. Tip - Please make sure that you are checking out from the air port hotel before 10,because the cruise time in house boat is only till 5 pm so be thier at house boat by 12 pm to avail maximum cruise time. You can do the evening shopping's at Cochin town. Tips- MG road is the best place for shopping at cochin.
