Two women who were inside the car were taken to the hospital for treatment; one has since been released. The driver, later identified as year-old Roman Lakey Culver of Covington, Washington, took off and led law enforcement on a short car chase. Deputies called off their pursuit over safety concerns after the suspect driver crashed into another car. Deputies ended up finding the vehicle in a tree near the intersection of Nyberg Road and Nyberg Lane.
He received medical care at the hospital before being booked into the Clackamas County Jail on eluding police, assault, and meth possession.
