Full of bars, pubs, ruin pubs, and every opportunity to get drunk. Really drunk. Just ask the people, who are unlucky enough to live there. Until midnight these places are quite all right. The uncontrolled heavy drinking starts later on. The other part of the street starts right away with a striptease bar, and a few meters away is a sex shop. If you're hungry for something else, there is a Pizza Hut, a Starbucks Coffee, a Chinese and a Vietnamese fast food place, etc.
My favorite is the Orange Kebab Turkish bistro. How in the earth can someone make such a silly name? Combine the kebab with the orange? Small shops are so close together that it's almost confusing. Somehow it reminds me of a bazaar. One thing for sure. We were in a parallel Road but you can't hear the hustle and bustle from kiraly. Great for bars and restaurants - we dined out locally every night at a different place.
Interesting relaxed shops and cafes wich are les commercial than the city center of Budapest. Very nice i october. Interesting street in the Jewish quarter, which goes alongside famous Andrasi bulvd. Interesting to see both and compare.
I was there just for 2 days and stayed there in a hotel Many bars and restaurants and the prices good. It is full of everyday eating places. The corner with Erzsebet Krt has a very handy Spar shop, open till around 10pm. You can often hear students practising from the various windows. Except for rather expensive tours the inside is normally closed to the public. See zeneacademia. In the centre of this there used to be an good Gouba Sunday Craft Market in side alleyways.
