I have spoken to Thomas Cook today surrounding the views on Tripadvisor and the seemingly ongoing problem with the prostitutes at the resort. Over the weekend, Thomas Cook contacted their reps in resort to enquire about the issue and ask how many complaints the reps have received. When they called me today they said they have actually had no complaints in-resort however acknowledge this doesn't necessarily mean it isn't happening.
So come on people, if you see things like this going on and you don't like it, report it to your rep, let them log your complaint and let them decide what they do next.
Moaning on tripadvisor 2 days after you come back that the problem is not being sorted is a waste of time Be very careful what you are calling prostitution - recently at a resort in Cuba there were 2 or 3 older European gentlemen with very young Cuban girls - everyone assumed the worst. So, just because you see an older man with a young Cuban girl - don't think the worst!! The only place we have ever seen an incident wherein there was no doubt the man was with prostitutes was at Brisas when an elderly man went to the desk with 3 teenage Cuban girls who were all over him.
The guy behind the desk just laughed and went about his business!! This is a very old thread!.. I have no problem with them going off and doing such like but to do it when there are children potentially about did worry me. There seems to be have been a distinct lck of posts about it lately so I consider there to be no problems Jimbo, you nailed it.
