Contact Admin. I am a english guy in my mid 30s. I am thinking of going to Varadero at the end of May with a pal. We want a bit of nightlife but nothing too Spring Break, Ibiza, crazy. We want to meet women but not the sort you have to pay for. Are there are a lot of single female tourist there or is there a better place for that. Also, are there any other areas of Cuba worth considering before we make up our minds.

Varadero is the place to be. Other places in Cuba can be very fun too but with much less options to chose from if you want to go out of your resort. Forget Varadero , go to Cancun , that is where you will find what you are looking for. Iv met people from cancun in havana vacationing I ask them what brings you to cuba they said the night life the beach and safety cancun not like it was 20 yeas ago and we're Mexican.
Don't even think that you can compare the nightlife in Varadero to Cancun it is really like night and day. There are clubs like coco bongo's, the city, bulldogs, that are like no where else in caribbean. After May, the pickings may be slim in Varadero as that's the start of the slow season.
