We visited 3 times Playa Costa Verde in the last 7 years. The maintenance of the hotel is done the Cuban way interior room building maintainance done at the minimum until closure of the hotel in order to renovate and rename of the complex. The Pro's: - Impeccable gardens; - cristal clear beach and reef; - low season for excursions lower prices ; - overall staff service is excellent; - good italian and japaneese retaurants The Con's - Low season no variety of food.

The pool bar was excellent, jesus the barman was a great member of staff,he has invented his own cocktail - MR Q Room was very spacious, but bed a bit hard. Maria was our maid- room Complete waste of money. Snack bar was also very good during the day and you can get 3 course if you wish.
We stayed at PCV early October and had an amazing time. It really is like Paradise. If you head to the left out at sea and turn left again it takes you into this beautiful, tranquil lake that just goes on forever and it is so peaceful, the fish jump out of the water right in front of your eyes β definitely worth doing! The hotel was great, our room was cleaned ever y day and we were always left towel arrangements by our maid.
We were given fresh towels daily and the air conditioning in the room made a difference. The weather in October is gorgeous, for the first 3 days of our stay there was no rain but after that it did rain almost every day but was sunny for the majority of the day. The rain would hold out till about 4pm when we would sit in the lobby barand take advantage of the free cocktails! The lightning storms are amazing! We travelled with Thomas cook and the TC rep was great, we booked the catamaran trip with swimming with dolphins which was the best thing we did.
