Late again, and not percent happy with the result, but it's an OK image, I think. Neon-coloured Post-its, arranged between the pages of a Simon's Cat book β not that I would ever bookmark a Simon's Cat book, but the cover is of a nicely bright, kind of "creamy".
Smurf blue that goes well with the now bleached by daylight and therefore slightly pastel-looking Post-its. The fun thing with cook books is, however, that I actually never use the bookmarks as such. Because everytime I'm looking for a recipe, I'll simply flip through the pages or go straight to a certain chapter. And when it comes to paperbacks or page-turners, I'll simply bookmark these with dog ears, but when it comes to more precious books, I'll use anything that won't damage the pages β even a regular bookmark ;.
When Yellow Mouse got up from her soft bed of garden flowers others would call it weed, but hey, she hadn't smoked in years! So what, that smell was overpowering. And there it was, her huge, delicious breakfast piece of Swiss cheese. At other times, she would have been nervous, always double-checking that resident cat Jim wasn't anywhere near, ready to pounce and do what he'd call "morning exercise with mouse".
Jim was alright, in his slightly weird "Jim way", but she strictly refused to do anything that came even remotely close to a workout before breakfast, let alone one that would have her twirled and tossed around by Jim, who, quite inefficiently, tried to assure her that "It's good for your poise! But ever since Jim had taken on an enormous liking to homemade lasagna, and upon which he had declared: "Live and let live!
Au contraire, these days it was barn dog Yellow Dog who tried to chase Jim around. Yellow Dog complained that Jim had gotten so lazy, "lasagna lazy" as he would call it. As Yellow Mouse set about to enjoy her breakfast, she heard, from a distance, some inviting barking "Let's go Jim, it's time for our workout! Yellow mouse sighed happily.
