I always believe in tipping when you get good service. I'm not saying it should be automatic but the waiter I had was very friendly and did a good job pointing out the sharks from the nice girls and the R50 was worth it. The price I paid I don't regret.
It was more than worth it as I ended up hanging out with the girl for the next couple of days including on the beach and she didn't charge me for that. One night she spent the night.
