Edwina is a prison philanthropist and founder and chair of One Small Thing. Since graduating in from Northumbria University where she studied Criminology and Sociology, Edwina has developed a career in prison reform. Her work has taken her all over the UK and around the world, visiting different models of criminal justice and witnessing first hand examples of best β and worst - prison practice. Dan makes programmes around the world on a range of historical topics, from the abandoned Viking churches of Greenland to war damaged sites of Timbuktu.
Dr Bradley is a trauma-informed researcher with a passion for trauma-responsive practice. She has dedicated her research to explore areas of good practice and challenges associated with the implementation of trauma-informed practice, in various institutions and environments.
Bob Johnson trained as a psychiatrist, both in the UK and the USA, but having objected to the use of ECT, Electro-shock Treatment, which he regarded as barbaric, equivalent to the ducking stool, and no better, he was blocked from further psychiatric promotion.
He moved into family medicine, where, after 19 years and much toil, he identified frontal blockages clinically β a pathology since confirmed by brainscan. As a Griffins research Fellowship graduate, she has developed a range of specialist programmes and has devised interventions and pathways in community and residential services for women who sell sex.
Kirsty developed the suite of training packages available from The Nelson Trust. Lilly Lewis is a survivor and campaigner of Domestic Abuse who has done her campaigning work over the last three years despite being incarcerated. She now works at In2change Alternative Provision where she works with children excluded from school.
