I get the following message every time I try to get the "highlighted pages" in any Google search results list. Your attempt to access this site has been recorded. Please contact the IT Helpdesk if you need access to this site for business purposes. Unfortunatly the IT Helpdesk cannot help. They say it is the nature of the Google cache links and I have to wait until Google changes its cache version.
Sometimes, it is very useful for me to see highlighted version of documents,. However, I do not see any clear evidence that there is a problem with either the current page or the cached page. That said Is it possible for your IT department to check their logs when you try to access one of those problematic cached pages to see if there is an indication of a redirect to some other site?
If this were limited to a few cached pages instead of all cached links it would make sense that the page could have been hacked and repaired, and it was just a matter of waiting for Google to take a new snapshot of the page. When searching, ALL cached links are blocked by "adult and nudity" rule. I am told by my IT support that Is this true? As a legal researcher I use the cached links a lot.
This is a recent problem - last four weeks. What makes you say that "ALL cached links are blocked by 'adult and nudity' rule? What type of message are you getting when you try to access a page through a cache link?
The message you are getting is not a Google generated message. Perhaps it would help if you provided some examples for the searches you are implementing and the URLs for the pages you are trying to access. DDGX Did you have any problem accessing the current pages directly from the search results instead of accessing the cached pages? If you use a different computer within your company, do you experience the same thing?
