Hi there, we use cookies to improve your experience on our website. You can update your settings by clicking the Privacy policy link at the bottom of the page. I am hoping to get some sound advice on travelling through Argentina during December for 33 days. Our thoughts are:. We are all in our late 20's , love wine, socialising, history and significant sites.
My question is Are we missing out on anything in our itinerary? Can you recommend anything in addition or should we take places away as we are being too ambitious? Do we have enough money? Yes, easily. Not even close. Your main costs are going to be travel and excursions. Scuba diving with seals is not cheap. Flights in Argentina aren't cheap either. You're skipping almost all of Patagonia.
That's the most obvious omission. Presumably you have your reasons. Other than that, between Mendoza and Salta there's San Juan which is worth a stop. Parque Ichigualasto is really something else. La Rioja is worth a stop if you like wines. It's not the Spanish Rioja, but it has decent wines, particularly white. Hi Andrew, That is a great response thank you.
Yes sorry that's per person not for all of us haha. I should have been more clear. We want to do Patagonia really badly however we're aware of our limited time so we're going to Patagonia and Antarctica together in another trip next year.
This will enable us to focus solely on northern Argentina. Hey, this is going to be an amazing trip! I just moved to Brazil after 6 months of living in Buenos Aires so I hope what I'm about to share with you is helpful : FYI BA is absolutely my favorite city in the world, and I've been to quite a few at this point. Agree with what Andrew said about Patagonia - definitely worth the trip big time! But since you're planning to go next year I think it's a good plan to focus on Northern Argentina for this trip.
