I arrived at the bus stand in Lushoto and Mweda Megans husband picked me up. He showed me the way from his home to town and a tour operator. He was also there when I wanted to go back from town to the accomodation until I know the way.
His breakfast and his dinner was awesome and not expensive. Unfortunately I did not meet Megan because she was travelling. Her husband was very nice and friendly. I would stay there again. Highly recommended. This place is like nothing else. I would consider coming back to Tanzania just to stay here with our new friend! Her husband Mweda, who welcomed us, is the kindest person!
The house is located in an quite and safe area. You walk about 10min to the bus station and it takes about 2h walking to Irente Viewpoint main road along the street.
Thanks again for the nice stay :. I had a really good time at the Anmut hostel. When I stayed there only Grace was there, she is really fun, and we had a good time chatting. Very hospitable! The place is not completly finished yet, but with their plans for the future it must be the coolest hostel in the region pretty soon.
Amazing view! I just felt a little lonely as I was the only guest. If I come back to Tanzania, I will definetly stay at their place again. His family is the same way, and will work around your schedule to do things like have breakfast ready. The property is gorgeous, overlooking a beautiful valley.
