Tunisia is an unusual place. We did, however, have a beautifully relaxed week next the the beach in the sunshine Rooms were very clean and air-con and fridge were a welcome luxury.
Olfa and Fatima staff at the reception desk were so so helpful and answered many of our questions about Tunisian magic and where to buy beers all the important stuff and were one of the highlights of our trip. The 6 fingered Chef aka Doctor, or Captain has quite the sense of humour and fed us delicious spicy eggs for breakfast and a range of delights in the evening. Incredibly accommodating of my boyfriend's gargantuan appetite for crepes and made a special effort to open the restaurant early for breakfast on the day we were catching our early flight.
The massage guy was a creep. Insisted on sliming his greasy paws on me whilst I was sunbathing by the pool. Also made creepy suggestive sex comments to us in conversation. Habib small man whom I can only liken to Del Boy hung around the hotel foyer and seemed to appear every time we were around for the first two days insisting that we spend a large sum of money on tropical waterfalls, camel rides, quads and pirate ships.

Until we paid him for a half day quad ride and a trip on the pirate ship with a 'money back guarantee' of course. We never saw him again. Be wary of the prices quoted and speak to the female reception staff before paying anything for trips, they are very honest : Overall, a fabulous holiday, met some lovely people and the hotel is very worth the money.
